Popstar Madonna is catching heat after she shared images of her two adopted daughter’s who are Black – posing behind slices of watermelon.
Madonna, who has six children, did not post images of her white children behind the watermelon slices – only images of the two of the daughters she adopted from Malawi.
Madonna is old enough and educated enough to know the implications of associating her Black daughters with watermelon.
Social media were not here for her shenanigans and have blasted her as a racist:
This is not the first time Madonna has come under fire for racist stereotypes when it comes to her children.
Back in 2014, she was forced to apologize after referring to her son as #disnigga.
“I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram,” she wrote.
“There’s no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention…It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”
