Thank you Zac, Bernie, Ashley, Karen and the whole Bahamas Air Tours Team for this epic day trip to the Bahamas.
Long version:
My girlfriend and me took the chance to see the swimming pigs of exumas.
Bahamas Air Tours provided us with superior support at all times!
Already before the actual booking I had the chance to talk with Ashley who made it super easy in finding a free slot for us two (Thank you so much, Ashley )
Zac was our Pilot and the flight(s) with a Cessna Caravan were awesome. Most scenic flights I took.
Once on the Bahamas, we met Bernard our tour guide. Bernie and Zac guided us from spot to spot. Both are very kind and funny guys. We had a lot of fun together.
Everything was awesome - the iguanas, the sharks on compass bay, white sand bars and of course the swimming piggies
The memories of this day will for sure stay for ever with us.

Best way to see the Bahamas in a day Wow! We did the Miami to Bahamas Day Trip by plane, and what an amazing experience we had! The flight to Exuma took around 2 hours and the views were... read moreWow! We did the Miami to Bahamas Day Trip by plane, and what an amazing experience we had! The flight to Exuma took around 2 hours and the views were absolutely breathtaking (incl. a quick stop at the airport on Andros island to clear customs). When we arrived on Staniel Cay, we were greeted by Bernie who was also our boat Captain for the day. He was so friendly and very hospitable throughout our whole trip. He drove us on golf buggies to the boat (around 5 mins) which was a fun way to get around.
First stop was to see the real Swimming pigs on Pig beach, which was amazing! They swam up to the boat to greet us on arrival, and there was bread provided for us to feed them! We spent around 40 minutes on this beautiful beach, and I even got to hold a swimming piglet! :)!!
The whole boat tour took around 4 hours and well equipped with local beers and soft drinks. We went swimming with sharks, met the Bahamian Iguanas, walked along the most stunning sand bars amidst the clearest turquoise waters, and snorkelled at Thunderball Grotto with lots of tropical fish! During the boat tour we stopped back at Staniel Cay for lunch at the Yacht Club for around an hour. The food was really tasty with a choice of Bohemian and American style food, we had the fish tacos. Note the lunch isn’t included in the price, but it was great value.
A few little tips I found were handy is if this is something you’re interested in doing is to research the limited options. This Bahamas day trip is the only one by plane, it ticked all our boxes with what we wanted to do/see, and the timings were perfect. Note transfers to the departure airport, Fort Lauderdale executive, Miami, were not included in the price so we made our way to the airport from downtown Miami by taxi which took around an hour. A couple of things I’d recommend bringing with you are some US dollars for lunch and for any other purchases (they do have a gift shop at the Yacht club), and maybe a portable phone charger if you have one because it’s such a beautiful trip!!!
Overall, a fantastic bucket-list adventure in true paradise - I would highly recommend a Bahamas Air Tour!!! read less

It's a long day but well worth it, we've been to Bahamas before (Atlantis) but this experience is second to none. Everyone from booking to pilot and captain were fantastic and friendly.
When you arrive at Staniel Cay and get on the boat, there are plenty of refreshments beer and soft drinks to keep you hydrated! But the views are amazing, swimming with sharks and pigs in the same day. The views from the plane is amazing as well.
We were never rushed and had as much time as we wanted at each place, also a lot of the places we had to ourselves. This was a fantastic experience and a great way to finish off our holiday.
I would recommend this trip to anyone - it is so well organised and although expensive is such good value when you consider you're in such a small group, flying to another county and spending time on a boat with the captain and pilot.
