Many games industry professionals are fleeing Ukraine because of war. Organized by InGame Job, Values Value, Games Gathering, DevGAMM, GDBAY, and other game dev influencers and community leaders in Ukraine, a new initiative has been created to help inform fellow Ukrainians who have been in contact with InGameJob.com, so they can contact the right people directly for further support.
The votes have been counted, and It Takes Two, a cooperative platforming journey where players control a couple going through a divorce that takes a fantastical turn, was named the Game of the Year at the 25th D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Awards. Hosted by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), members of the interactive entertainment industry gathered this evening at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas to celebrate the best achievements of 2021, crowning winners in 23 different categories.
At the 2022 D.I.C.E. Summit, Austin Wintory chats with Philip Eriksson, Lead Sound Designer at Hazelight. Together they discuss his transition from music into game development; the incredible challenge of designing all the audio for the various worlds and themes of It Takes Two; and what steps the team took in order to tackle such a tremendous project.

Phil Spencer to receive Lifetime Achievement Award
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) today announced that Phil Spencer, CEO, Microsoft Gaming, will be the recipient of the AIAS Lifetime Achievement Award. Spencer will be honored at the 25th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas and livestreamed by IGN on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 8PM PT. Jaguar Professional Large Shaving Brush | 1071 | Orange | AUS SE game director and executive producer Todd Howard will present the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award to Spencer.
